🧭 On Today’s issue of NWI Explored: Allow us to introduce ourselves. The very first issue of NWI Explored is finally upon us and we couldn’t be more excited. Here’s what we’re going to be talking about today:🧭

NWI Explored is a love letter to the area that we all call home: whether you’re from Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Newton, or Jasper county. Our core interest in creating this newsletter is providing a roadmap through the incredibly varied and unique Northwest Indiana area. Both of us co-founders grew up here and moved away for a time, only to come back and recognize what a beautiful place it was. We were so lucky to fall back in love with our hometowns and understand how much of a joy it was to grow up in a place as diverse, varied, and unique as NWI.

In essence, NWI Explored is a newsletter, delivered to your inbox twice a week — every week. Beyond that, NWIE is a way for you to stay connected, engaged, and involved with everything that’s happening across the Region. Our goal is to be your one-stop shop for anything and everything Northwest Indiana. Restaurant recommendations, news, rumors, events, festivals, history: anything you can think of, we want to provide it to you.

Aside from the 2x weekly newsletter, NWI Explored is also a short-form content hub, posting new NWI centered content on our Instagram on a consistent basis. Expect beautiful snapshots of life being lived in Northwest Indiana, spotlights on the best restaurants the Region has to offer, flashbacks into the profound history of our hometowns, and easy-to-consume lists and carousels all about our favorite spots. This is just the beginning of what we’re envisioning NWI Explored can be, so you’ll be getting in on the ground floor of what we hope will be the preeminent NWI-centered media outlet. There’s a lot of time to make good on that promise, but we’re starting out with just what we outlined above, which is:
